The right to reimbursement by withdrawal may be exercised by consumers within the meaning of the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the Modus Design store operator of your decision to withdraw from this contract by way of an unambiguous statement (letter sent by post or e-mail).

In order to withdraw from the contract, you must immediately send us a completed form within 14 days.

 

Effects of withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal from the contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including the cost of delivering the goods (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the delivery method chosen by you, other than the cheapest usual delivery method offered by us, and the completed gift packaging service), immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the form. We confirm the receipt of the form every time, if you do not receive the confirmation, please contact us by phone. We will process your refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund. We may withhold a refund until we have received the item or until we have received proof that it has been returned, whichever is the earlier.

Please return or return the returned item to us immediately and in any case no later than 14 days. You will have to pay the direct cost of returning the item.

 

Time-limit for recovery

According to Polish law, you can withdraw from the contract of purchase of goods in the online store within 14 days.

Returned products

Please check the purchased products in the presence of a courier. Otherwise, we do not accept any claims for mechanical damage. We do not accept products that are damaged by the fault of the consumer, e.g. breakage, destruction. We would also like to inform you that our products are always thoroughly checked and packed with great care.

Returned goods may not be used. They should be complete and returned in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging together with additional equipment and instructions.

When an order consisted of several items, it is also possible to return only some of them.

Please insert the order confirmation, invoice, and statement of withdrawal (if not previously submitted, e.g. by e-mail) or the complaint form into the packaging. 

In order to reduce the risk of damage, we recommend using courier services and the packaging in which the order was delivered.

Pay particular attention to the packaging of the items. Informing a courier that a shipment contains porcelain is not enough, because in practice parcels are treated in the same way. Parcels can be stored in multiple levels (with ours on the bottom) or can be hit by a corner of another parcel. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the rule that the objects inside the package should not be closer than 4-5 cm to the walls of the external box. Objects inside the package should be immobilized. Waybill (the print to be filled in together with the courier should contain the information "Attention to glass".

 

Reimbursement

The refund is made to the account specified by you in the form, Modus Design will refund the money immediately upon receipt of the shipment and upon receipt of the original payment.

The cost of gift packaging is not refunded.

In case the returned goods are sent back by a shipment paid for by Modus Design, the cost of this transport will be deducted from the amount of the return.

 

Complaints

Before packing the packages, our employees thoroughly check whether the items being shipped are complete and fully functional. However, it may happen that the goods have hidden defects which are not visible at the time of sale. That is why, as mentioned above, we ask you to check your products in the presence of a courier. Otherwise, we do not accept mechanical complaints. We do not advertise products damaged through consumer fault, e.g. breakage, destruction. In case of a complaint, please send us the complaint form by e-mail to: info[at]modusdesign.com or on paper. We will contact you by phone and agree on the best way to handle your complaint. Complaints happen very rarely in Modus Design and we always try to settle the matter as quickly as possible.

In the event of a defect in production, we only wait 2 weeks for complaints. After this time, no claims will be accepted.
